something to be grateful for.

the only good news to come out of the last few days...

see: if humans were a bit more like us, things would be much better...

umm, we know you love us, but...

please don't do this.

it's just really spooky and we'd prefer to rest in peace when that time comes...

(speaking of which, i'd just like to say that i wish mom would let me rest in peace each night when, instead, she interrupts my comfortable sleep in the crook of her belly to get up and pee.)

a bad day

This morning, curled up in the nook my mom makes with her belly, I had an asthma attack. My second one in a few days. So... I had one of those red M&Ms shoved down my throat. And then while I was gently reminding the folks that it was OVER AN HOUR PAST MY BREAKFAST TIME I got whisked into the carrier and hauled off into the car.

Yes, the vet's. I was prodded and listened to. Then got an injection. Lovely. But luckily I was fed straight away upon arriving at home...

Oh and did I tell you that I really like pumpkin, chocolate chip cookies with walnuts? Fantastic!

Yes, well, my day wasn't much different. After chasing my brother around for a bit at 2am, I suddenly had an asthma attack, my third in nearly as many days. Great. But I couldn't believe it when, in the morning, Tenzin was the one carted off in the box to the vet's. Hooray! I thought.

But then afternoon came... And suddenly I was shut in the kitchen and things didn't look good at all. I tried to figure out how to open the kitchen door, to no avail. And then there I was: in the box, in the car, at the vet's. I thought for sure this was going to be a day-long trial, with me feeling like sh*t for 24 hours. But: whaddayaknow?? I was prodded a bit and that was all: back home in no time!

And I'd like to say that I like garlic butter: delicious and good for you too!

recuperation

Blimey! Mom fell down the stairs today and it took me a whole hour to recuperate from it! (I was standing at the bottom of the stairs when it happened!)

the reason for mothers

mom likes to say "one lump, or two?" but we think that's rude.
