time out for tomas

yeah. when my brother starts yelping while we're fighting, mom says: Time Out for Tomas! and grabs me and sticks me somewhere with the door shut for about five minutes.

normally,
tenzin tries to see me/rescue me by scratching at the door.

but today: no.

no,
this time, mom sticks me in the bathroom and goes to work on the computer. tenzin remains quiet and i am left in the bathroom for over an hour.

but i'm such a chilled out cat that it doesn't bother me at all. nope. i like hanging out and having some space to myself...

Don't Do That.

When I tell you I'm hungry, do not pick me up and feel my belly and listen to it to check to see if it's growling. Just trust me. I'm hungry.

Dog saves family from house fire

A pet dog has been hailed a hero after saving a family of four by raising the alarm when a fire broke out.

Seven-month-old Fudge, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, raised the alarm at the semi-detached house in the Ravensdale area of Mansfield on Friday.

Two young children were led to safety after the dog started barking and climbed on a bed to wake their mother.

Sharon Dennington said she and her partner were asleep and they are grateful Fudge came to the rescue.

She said: "She was barking and she'd got my hair in her teeth.

"I noticed there was all this smoke coming through my bedroom, and she was telling me really, there was something going off.

"If it wasn't for the dog we wouldn't be here today."

A Letter to Our Dad

Dear Dad,

We know you're really upset about what happened in the United States overnight. But we don't think it's fair that you suddenly blame us because we're Americans and we didn't vote.

To be fair, we're not really Americans anymore.

If we were to go back to America, we would have to have British documentation and the Americans would treat us as foreigners.

Also, we were New Yorkers, so our votes wouldn't have affected the national outcome.

Additionally, we have wholeheartedly been embracing our British homeland and European roots (as seen in our favorites in the EuroCup 2004). (We are referring to the fact that we are Russian and Norwegian in heritage.)

So, in conclusion, we hope you will reconsider your stance on our culpability in the Bushing of America.

Thank you and much love,

Tenzin and Tomas

P.S. You should probably feed us now. Extra.

time change? time change?! what's that?!

This is SO annoying. Mom and Dad keep going on and on about how "time has changed" and the "clocks have changed" and we don't give a crap about that. Why do they keep saying that? It's completely irrelevant. All we care about it is that we are being fed dangerously late at each mealtime and have been since Saturday night! This is OUTRAGEOUS and must STOP!
