thornbury cat in unfulfilled death wish shocker

it was so horrifying.

we could not believe our eyes.

there was kofi/skippy sitting in the middle of the street.

our father was laughing (why???) and our mother was crying. a car pulled out near her and avoided her. then another car came along, and moved to the other side of the street. we just couldn't believe it. mom shouted at dad to go outside and put her back on her lawn. and he finally started to go downstairs, but then kofi sauntered back onto her grassy spot.

sheesh! the stress of it!!

okay. we're ready to talk now.

yes, two weeks ago, THIS happened to us:

100 1177

...for a whole weekend!!! we're not sure what it really IS since it kind of smells like a person but it's small and really dangerous. it would chase after us and any time it saw tenzin it would say "MEOW' and anytime it saw tomas it would say "ROAR". now, we assume this means it thought tomas was a lion and tenzin was a cat. which wouldn't be bad really, but it didn't seem to be scared of lions, unfortunately.

so, basically, we spent its waking hours hiding and in the evening we'd come out and socialize with the people that had brought it (although we're not sure why we were so nice to them after what they brought but...).

let's just hope this never happens again. ugh.

silence

we don't even want to talk about what's been going on in our house this weekend. maybe later. when we're done being traumatized.

we'll take one: with conditions

BBC NEWS | Europe | Monks seek homes for St Bernards

Wanted: Home for 64kg-worth of shaggy, doe-eyed dog, used to long walks in the Swiss Alps, brandy keg optional.

Monks at the St Bernard's Hospice in the Swiss Alps are planning to sell the world-famous rescue dogs to devote more time to needy people.

The skills of the 18 dogs, renowned for saving avalanche victims from snowy graves, have long been overtaken by helicopters and heat-seeking equipment.

If he knows how to get our food out of the kitchen while Mom and Dad are out, we'll take him. (He MUST know how to do that, or how else could he 'rescue' us from starvation???)
