catnip cat

My catnip cat is full of spunk
It races here and races there
Has more pep than most catnip cats
It leaps and sails straight through the air

This is expected I am told
It's addicted to catnip plant
Takes a snip at every chance
Then off it goes, and off to rant!

My catnip cat's a loving beast
Regardless, its vivacious way
Suns in sun on the window sill
Watches for birds to scare away!

Purrs for food when not "catnipping"
Tumbles with yarn ball on the floor
Realistically, I should think
Who from catnip cat could ask more?

Oh, this is great -- would you enter it for this week's Carnival of Cats? (Surely I didn't miss it before?) --

Just email me at blogdiva[at]gmail[dot]com, and I'll add it.
