"Talking you in". What an idea!
For some time, I've had difficulty with what I perceive to be the soul-killing nagging of those who "know" what ought to be done with respect to the environment and our relationship with the planet. I've been longing for another approach and I may have found it: we, as human beings, could be "talked in" by caring, compassionate, forward-looking, pro-cotters (as opposed to boy-cotters -- idea put forward by Utne Reader some years ago).
Imagine a world where we could respond to an "invitation", a sincere, warm call to connect. Who could launch such invitations? Who could extend such warmth and sincerity? Now these are questions that require some reflection....
