Ann Jarnet

Ann

Ann Jarnet is a retired Canadian public servant who enjoyed nearly 25 years of working on environmental and youth issues. She is currently teaching history and political science at a small community college in Sept-Iles, Québec, and is participating with a group of researchers who are writing the history of the North Shore of the St. Lawrence River and its peoples. Ann maintains her interest in environmental issues and is grieving for the polar bear, victim of climate change. She has discovered Tai-chi and is hoping to find more equilibrium supporting activities to assist her in aging gracefully.

I'm part of an international team of Quaker Institute for the Future writing a book on a moral economy. I'll be in Halifax and Kentville in August for a yearly Quaker meeting. Maybe we can talk then, or email now. See also http://pages.videotron.com/fdmillar/eps/epslinks.html
